MAA President welcomes another year, tradition of giving celebrated!

 

The simple deed of sharing the good fortune accrued through hard work and dedication turned into a celebrated tradition for the people of MAA General Assurance Phils. (MAAGAP).

For 8th consecutive years now, top level management under the able leadership of CEO/President Mr. Daniel C. Go relentlessly set an example to MAAGAP people and to the rest of the working world that it is not mere social responsibility but rather it is a rewarding sentiment to reach out to underprivileged individuals.

Supported by executives and staff, Mr. Go shared his time and blessings to the children from Kanlungan sa ERMA and Children’s Joy Foundation (CJF) on January 30, 2010.

Kanlungan sa ERMA is a non-stock, non-profit child caring agency serving children in need of special protection in the Ermita-Malate areas. Similar to Kanlungan, CJF seeks to provide shelter and refuge to unfortunate kids.

Mr. Go, also a believer that education among other factors is the key  to attain ones dream, extended his educational support to Ms. Pearly Angielyn Largo, one of Kanlungan’s Children.

Ms. Sol Barbero, Kanlungan exec. dir.  and  Ms. Laurence Condez, CJF’s Key person thanked Mr. Go and the rest of the MAAGAP  working force for the continued assistance offered to their institutions.

This charitable event is being annually held to coincide the birthday of Mr. Go.

MAA General Assurance hikes paid-up capital

 

MAA General Assurance Phils. (MAAGAP) and its local shareholders recently infused an additional P 50 million to comply with the Insurance Commission's requirement of P200 million as of January 2010.

MAAGAP is fully committed to provide the highest standards of services and needs to its policyholders and guarantees to fulfill its obligations to the business partners and the country's regulatory board.

Its plans for growth and development remain unchanged despite the call for higher capitalization. The company will continue to enhance and improve its corporate values in the pursuit of quslity performance in line with MAAGAP's mission and objective.

 

MAAGAP moved office site in Dagupan

 

To ascertain visibility and facilitate service to its clients, the MAAGAP Dagupan Branch office transferred location. Blessing and re launching of the office was held last April 30, 2010.

Attended the celebration included Mr. Daniel Go-President; Mr. Arturo Reyes-SVP for Operations; Mr. Martin Dela Rosa- VP for Marketing and Mr. Virgilio Cruz- Consultant.

The occasion was also graced by no other than Insurance Commission's Commissioner, Commissioner Santiago Ranada Sr. and other respected officials from the City of Dagupan. The Dagupan Branch Office is manage by Mr. Roderick Gomez.

 

MAAGAP treated top producers to leisure and fun

 

Three days of pure fun and leisure has been the reward extended by MAA General Assurance Phils. (MAAGAP) to more than one hundred individuals representing insurance agencies and companies all over the country.

These people continuously remain as solid partners of the company in achieving its vision and commitment to the insuring public. The event, famously referred to as Achievers' Congress is an inherited tradition from MAAGAP's parent company based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Aside from serving as incentive to agents/brokers hard work, this event poses a challenge among these individuals to keep their competitive spirits high and excel in their chosen profession.

To promote local tourism, the event was held at Baguio City from May 1 to 3, 2010.

 

 

 

Preparation for ISO 9001:2009 cross over to ISO 9001:2008

 

The management and whole of working force of MAA General Assurance Philippines is currently mobilize to ensure the preparation and compliance of the company as it aims to upgrade quality standards to ISO 9001:2008.

MAAGAP successfully secured ISO 9001:2001 for quality system in November 27, 2006. This endeavor of the company is a statement of its commitment to deliver quality service and products to the trusting public.
